By default, the account password will expire after 90 days in both staging and production environments.

How often does my password need to be updated?
Can I be issued a non-expiring password?
It is possible to have a non-expiring password in your production enviroment only. We currently do not support non-expiring passswords in our staging environments.
In order to have a non-expiring password you will need to enable IP restrictions as well as provide a group email address as a contact. If you are interested in obtaining a non-expiring production password please contact connectapisupport@experian.com

How do I reset my password?
In our staging environments a manual reset of credentials is required. If your staging password has expired please make a request to connectapisupport@experian.com to have a new password issued to you.
To reset your production password follow the steps from a system with an IP address cleared for the account.
- Request https://stg1-ss6.experian.com/ECP2P/api/user via an internet browser
- You will be routed to a page requesting the User ID. Enter User ID and submit
- You will then be prompted to enter the current password. Enter password and submit
- If the password has been expired, you will be routed to a page that will allow you to create a new password. Enter required fields and submit
Your password has now been reset.

Available information on the consumer is returned and displayed in the response but no questions are generated -
9012 Consumer/Victim Statement on-file
A Consumer/Victim Statement has been placed on the consumer’s credit file and a Credit Profile is returned. Only non-credit questions can be generated. - This code is returned only for FCRA/Account Opening product options for statement types 06, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. -
9013 Blocked or Frozen file
The consumer’s credit file has been blocked or frozen – No consumer information is returned.
